A small studio with a long memory.
Hamkey LLC was started in 2026 in Chicago, Illinois, as a home for the web applications and small products we build and operate. After more than 25 years leading digital transformation and research technology programs, we wanted a quieter place to make things — carefully, sustainably, and on our own terms.
The name "Hamkey" is a small nod to the work itself: a key you turn, something that opens a door. Most of what we do here is exactly that — small, useful tools that unlock something for the people using them.
